Dispatcher
Location: Galveston, TX
Pay: $23 - $30 per hour + Overtime
Schedule: Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly reliable and hardworking Dispatcher to join our team in Galveston, TX. This role requires someone with a strong work ethic and a proven history of stability in previous positions. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating logistics and ensuring efficient communication between drivers, yard personnel, and office staff. The dispatcher will help Schedule orders, make sure the orders are filled correctly on the lot and work hand in hand with the drivers to ensure a smooth operation. The position involves working both in the office and out in the yard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch trucks, drivers, and equipment to appropriate locations in a timely manner
• Monitor and track deliveries to ensure on-time performance and troubleshoot delays
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide status updates and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including logs, routes, and work orders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist in coordinating yard operations and optimizing workflow
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a logistics-related role preferred
• Strong reliability and a track record of good tenure in past positions
• Ability to work in both office and outdoor yard environments
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to problem-solve under pressure
• Basic computer proficiency for tracking and reporting purposes
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays as needed
