The Practice Manager (PM) serves as the Operations Manager for our clinic location on Bailey Avenue. The PM performs, supervises, and coordinates the work activity for the location. They collaborate and support team members to ensure a patient-focused approach to care.

As part of the essential functions of this role, the Practice Manager:

• Directly supervises Lead Patient Services Representative (PSRs), supervises the overall operation of the clinic, and works in collaboration with the Director of Practice Operations in leading, coaching, and developing staff
• Addresses patient concerns, and code of conduct violations; the PM will investigate site-specific Healthicity tickets and provide recommendations to clinic leadership team and present incidents during site huddles
• Works collaboratively with supervisors and clinic leadership to develop onboarding, and annual training tools; will be required to travel across locations to support training initiatives and rollouts
• Monitors and reviews patient charts to ensure that PSRs are adhering to all scheduling, registration, and patient care protocols; provides feedback and retraining to staff as needed
• Maintains the ability to perform all functions of the PSR and Medical Assistant (MA) roles and provides support and coverage as needed
• Monitors all aspects of incoming and outgoing phone calls through use of phone metrics dashboards, monitoring nursing and front desk calls, and providing call audit results to clinic leadership
• Monitors and evaluates staff performance in accordance with the Performance Policy; holds routine check-ins to address progress toward achieving performance goals
• Assists with the onboarding process of medical providers, students, residents, fellows, and shadowing students
• Submits supply requests on behalf of Primary and Specialty Care

Qualified candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred) with at least three (3) years experience working in a medical office; must have at least two (2) years of supervisory experience; candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail; Ability to handle sensitive material, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and displaying sound judgment, is essential; sensitivity toward cultural diversity, people living with HIV/AIDS, and lifestyle and addiction issues essential.

Job type: Full-time, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Required education/experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred); at least three (3) years experience working in a medical office; at least two (2) years of supervisory experience
