Medical Assistant Training Program at St. Luke's Health System in Twin Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview At St. Luke's, our dedicated team of Certified Medical Assistants strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences. For your application to be considered you must upload an updated resume and cover letter What you can expect from this role + This program is a paid apprenticeship providing the education and skills necessary for a CMA career. + It is an entry-level position requiring no prior MA experience and offers orientation to the duties and responsibilities of a medical assistant through on-the-job training in clinical rotations, classroom instruction, continuing education and four hours of paid study time weekly over the course of 7-8 months. + Transportation and flexibility will be required as MA-Ts do rotations at various clinics within the Magic Valley. + Upon completion of the program, participants sit for a credentialing exam and become eligible for a CMA role. + Individuals accepted into the MA-T program are hired as full-time employees and are expected to complete the program and then work for a minimum of one year in a full time CMA role at St. Luke's.
