Job Description

A highly regarded law firm in Washington, D.C. is currently seeking skilled applicants for their opening as a Temporary HR Data Analyst/Lawyer Recruiting Assistant. This is a fully-onsite contract position with an anticipated end date in August. Individuals in this position will be responsible for significant data entry duties and other administrative tasks. Preferred candidates will have a strong interest in working towards a career in Human Resources.

  • Contract pay $25/hour
  • Contract role - ASAP through the end of August
  • 5 days per week on-site in Washington, D.C.
  • Hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keeps updated applicant records in tracking system.
  • Assists with general administrative duties.
  • Works in the legal recruiting applicant tracking system, LawCruit.
  • Assists with processing and review of online applicants.
  • Updates the status and other items pertaining to applicants.
  • Assists LRD members with a variety of meeting and event planning duties, including room reservations, delivery needs, caterer planning and coordination, teleconferencing and equipment set-up, nametags, shipping of materials, and any other necessary meeting and event tasks.
  • Oversees and keeps inventory of all in-stock give-aways for both recruiting events.
  • Orders and compiles any necessary literature or recruiting materials and prepares same for shipping to off-site events.
  • Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties, as needed, for the members of the LRD recruiting team, including team managers and supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
  • Experience in a professional services office or other legal support experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Other Qualifications: Exceptional written and verbal communication and listening skills. Accurate typing, word processing skills and ability to pay strict attention to detail.
  • Spelling, punctuation and use of grammar must be of high quality.

Lawyers On Demand/Consilio offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, the applicability of candidate's skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
