Job Description

Position Summary Oversees all HR functions within the organization, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.Role and Responsibilities Performs supervisory responsibilities to effectively manage personnel including interviewing, hiring, terminating, training, developing, planning, assigning work, coaching, appraising performance, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals. Conducts and completes thorough investigations relating to complaints and grievances received. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and performance. Conducts market analysis and benchmarking to ensure pay practices are competitive and align with the organization's business objectives. Oversees recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. Works closely with company trainers to assist and support leadership development initiatives. Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events. Maintains positive working relationships. Maintains regular and other duties assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills High level of organizational and problem-solving ability Strong analytical and attention to detail Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Adaptable and able to navigate complex and challenging situations Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or eight to ten years progressive related experience with at least five years in a leadership role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.PHYSICAL DEMANDS Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times. Ability to travel on short notice
