Role-Desktop Support Location-Chicago IL ,USA We are looking for Desktop Support Technicians to perform service, repair, and/or installation of PCs (laptops and desktops) Role & Responsibilities: Performs computer hardware and software installations, maintenance tasks, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment. Provides Level 1 technical support while configuring PCs for users. Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support as needed. This includes service that exceeds response time, repair time, lack of parts, or any other issue that could impact customer satisfaction. Processes timely and accurate information to ensure compliance with vendor warranty requirements. Adheres to client policies and procedures while maintaining the integrity of the customers data. Coordinates across multiple departments/vendors to provide support. Interacts with the customer when responding to technical questions or requests for information. Maintains regular attendance. Other duties as assigned by management. Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, College degree in a related field, and Fresh graduate. Good to have experience with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office Suites, basic knowledge in desktop troubleshooting is plus. Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $45,000 to $50,000].
