One of our clients is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Data Analytics to lead their growing team in transforming complex data sets into actionable insights. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytics leader who can shape the data strategy and drive data-driven decision-making across our client’s organization.
The Head of Data Analytics will spearhead the design and implementation of data infrastructure, analytics solutions, and reporting systems for our client. This role will be responsible for managing a team of data engineers, analysts, and project managers, and leading key initiatives that transform raw data into actionable insights, helping drive business strategy and decision-making.
As a leader, you will oversee the development of core datasets, design efficient data models, and ensure data integrity across all functions. Your expertise will enable the company to establish a robust data foundation, optimize reporting systems, and automate data pipelines. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven insights are integrated into operational workflows.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead a cross-functional team of Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, QA, Project Managers, and analysts. Guide team members in achieving individual and team goals.
* Design, develop, and optimize core datasets that align with business needs. Establish and maintain a reliable and scalable data infrastructure using tools like Alteryx, Dataiku, and DBT.
* Ensure data integrity and consistency through the design and implementation of cross-validation and QA processes. Spearhead data quality checks and continuous monitoring systems.
* Oversee the creation of visually compelling, actionable dashboards and reports using Tableau and other BI tools. Collaborate with other departments to provide insights that drive departmental improvements and operational efficiency.
* Lead efforts to automate reporting systems and data pipelines to streamline the flow of data across the organization. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure systems meet evolving business needs.
* Collaborate with various business units to understand their analytics requirements and ensure they receive timely, accurate insights. Help departments integrate data insights into their Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Manage large-scale projects, from designing data models to migrating data and optimizing business processes. Maintain project timelines, ensure smooth cross-team collaboration, and track progress towards project goals.
* Lead the onboarding of new team members and provide ongoing training. Mentor junior team members and help foster a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
**Requirements & Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Advanced certifications in Data Science, Analytics, or Engineering are a plus).
* At least 8 years of professional experience in data analytics, with a proven track record of leading and managing analytics teams. Prior experience in financial services or similar industries is highly preferred.
* Expertise in database management systems (AWS Redshift, MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, etc.).
* Advanced experience with ETL tools like Alteryx, Dataiku, and DBT.
* Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Google Data Studio, and ModeAnalytics.
* Strong command of SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
* Demonstrated experience in leading teams, project management, and working with stakeholders across various departments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to address complex data challenges and provide innovative, data-driven solutions.
* Schedule: Amenable to work Monday to Friday between 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time (PST/PDT)
**Pay: $4000 + $55 Allowance per month**
