Candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs, challenges, and objectives, which will then be translated into actionable requirements for Appian-based solutions. The candiudate will map current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improvements through the Appian platform. Collaborating with technical teams, the person will design and document effective Appian solutions that align with business goals and requirements. Responsibilities will also include configuring and customizing Appian applications, such as building workflows, forms, interfaces, and integrating with third-party systems. Conduct functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify the delivered solution meets business needs and is defect-free. Provide user training and support, addressing any issues that arise, and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth communication regarding requirements, timelines, and project deliverables. Finally stay up to date with the latest Appian features and best practices, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes to drive continuous improvement.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with the Appian platform.
  • Experience in process analysis, business process modeling, and process automation.
  • Familiarity with the Agile methodology and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Appian architecture and components (e.g., process models, Appian records, expressions).
  • Knowledge of business process management (BPM) and application development methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. :

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with integrations between Appian and third-party systems (e.g., APIs, databases).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and SaaS platforms.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and reporting within Appian.
  • Appian Certified Business Analyst or other relevant Appian certifications.
  • PMP or Agile certification is a plus.

Education : College Degree is a must. Certified Business Analyst or other relevant Appian certifications. PMP or Agile certification are pluses.
