Summary:
SUMMARY
We are looking for a professional who is experienced in installing and servicing windows and doors. This Door/Window Installation Technician position will provide superior field support on window and door products by performing service in the customers home. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, be self-motivated, driven, efficient, and detail oriented. They will also have a minimum of 3+ construction related experience.

What You'll Do:

We are looking for a professional who is experienced in installing and servicing windows and doors. This Door/Window Service Technician position will provide superior field support on window and door products by performing service in the customers home. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, be self-motivated, driven, efficient, and detail-oriented. They will also have a minimum of 3+ construction related experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Trouble shoot problems.


• Visit job sites.


• Re-glaze windows.


• Service Sliding Glass Doors.


• Inspect the project with customers for final product acceptance.


• Repair issues on jobs.


• Communicate with service manager, production manager on issues as they arise.


• Ensure you have materials for projects prior to job.


• Communicate effectively with customers before during and possibly after service.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have experience with window and door service.


• Must have good customer service skills and can communicate well verbally and in writing.


• Must be organized and have good follow up skills and be computer literate.


• Experienced with framing and window trim out preferred.

• Must have a clean valid driving license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery.


• Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.


• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.


• Must be able to lift 50+lbs with assistance.


• Use of hand tools

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Required to travel to service sites daily.
