General Summary
The Web Store & Marketing Manager (WSMM) will develop a strategy to help us implement the Online Store in line with the overall company vision and business goals. The candidate will lead and execute the marketing and Online Store campaigns for the company’s products and services, with the ability to promote and distinguish Pure Ground Ingredients to target customers throughout North America.

The ideal candidate will work to implement the Online Store Project and create/grow new market opportunities and new clients for existing and new products. This will require identifying market trends and developing new business opportunities.

In addition to the Web Store administration, the WSMM will analyze market trends and sales to identify performance drivers and to support new promotional and distribution opportunities within the category to achieve sales growth. Working with the Sales Manager to provide guidance and direction for company sales and sales team.

Expertise and a proven track record in marketing and or e-commerce is preferred.

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for successfully launching and managing the Shopify Online Store.
  • Identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
  • Management responsibility for promotional planning, product launch planning, and market share insights.
  • Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and marketing deployment.
  • Provide Web visit reports and sales revenue performance.
  • Manage assortment, product presentation, and promotions, which may vary by retailer/location
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Bridge the gap between sales and marketing.
  • Develop trade marketing and account sales materials including training materials.
  • Build an integrated sales and marketing calendar.
  • Monthly market share insights & recommendations.
  • Product line optimization and inventory management.
  • build out the marketing function as well as SOP

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in e-commerce, Communications, or related field with 3-5 years experience in Product Marketing and/or Merchandising.
  • Coding experience and expertise preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce and managing online sales in the food industry is preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and negotiation skills.
  • STRONG ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS!!!!!! Yes, it is that important.
  • Able to work both independently and within a customer-focused team environment.
  • Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving skills; and a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and sales or inventory database systems.
  • Experience using QuickBooks Enterprise and ERP system.
  • Experience coding and updating Shopify website

OTHER: • Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Must be able to stoop, bend, stand, turn, or squat as necessary and operate office equipment. • Frequently lifts office items or product samples up to 10 lbs and occasionally lifts up to 40 lbs.
