Salary: $41,061 - $56,160
The Development Authority of the North Country is looking to grow our team with people who are ready to collaborate in serving the common needs of the North Country by providing technical services and infrastructure, which will enhance economic opportunities in the region and promote the health and well-being of its communities.
The successful candidate will primarily work in and around Franklin and St. Lawrence counties and must be within 30 minutes of the Village of Malone to respond to call-outs . Employees are assigned a company truck and tools for daily travel from their home to assigned route.

Job Summary: The Water Quality Technician assists certified Operators in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems. The Water Quality Technician may work independently, interact with customers, and have specifically assigned duties and responsibilities.

Minimum Drivers License: Class D NYS regular operator.
Travel Requirements: Extensive day travel in service area.
Typical Work Schedule: Regularly works Monday through Friday during normal business hours and requires willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed, and rotational weekend and On-Call schedule.
Environmental: (Outdoor environment) Works outdoors with exposure to weather conditions (rain, snow, sun, wind, extreme cold and heat).
