Job Description

Overview:

Epika Fleet Services is looking for a part time video editor to help support our digital marketing initiatives and increase creative output. The role specializes in creating video edits that reflect our brand’s personality, foster online engagement, and strengthen our websites and social media platforms.

5-6 months or 1 semester, with a January start date. Applicant must be available approximately 15-20 hours per week.

The majority of hours will be spent working independently. Occasional in-person one on one meetings will be held with Epika’s lead videographer.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Editing 1-2 minute teammate testimonial videos for career webpages and internal company use
• Creating short-form vertical content for social media accounts
• Balancing multiple video projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines
• Maintaining consistent, efficient, and effective communication regarding the status of projects
• Working alongside the lead videographer and collaborating with other marketing team members as needed

Qualifications:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Current enrollment in, or recent graduation from, a video, communications, or media-related course of study with at least 2 years of editing experience
• Proficiency with a strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience managing multiple timelines, as well as audio/visual/graphic layers within the editing suite
• A strong understanding of visual composition, framing, color theory, sound design, and transitions
o Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and/or VFX is a plus
o Experience with Photoshop and/or After Effects is a plus
• The ability to effectively manage digital assets, deliver content expediently, and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and pride in precision for all aspects of the job
• An eagerness to learn, collaborate with other creatives, and continuously improve your craft

Benefits: Pay Range: USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
