Vehicle Test Driver Overview

TPG is seeking motivated, dependable and safe Vehicle Test Drivers to test vehicles and their systems for a worldwide automotive company in Saline, MI.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Vehicle Test Driver candidates will test drive and evaluate test vehicles on public roads.
• Conduct safety inspections, perform specialized test procedures and document findings on driver reports in a clear and concise manner.
• Test vehicles in a wide range of testing conditions including engine and transmission, durability, vehicle noise, vibration and brake testing.

Get paid to drive test vehicles, experience new technology firsthand and give feedback to the development team!

***Candidates must have ability to work 1st 7am- 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications and Skills for Vehicle Test Driver

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous professional driving experience is preferred
• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 10 years driving history with an excellent driving record
• Safety Sensitive position requiring all persons assigned to activity be drug-free
• Must have good vision, hearing and motor skills
• Able to sit for prolonged periods routinely exceeding eight or more hours
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and possible overtime
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate GPS
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly both written and orally

This position is a safety sensitive position. All candidates must pass pre-qualified background checks and drug screens once offered.
