Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team at Quick Med Staffing in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, proficiency in advanced imaging techniques, and a commitment to exceptional patient care. Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility will not be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures in an outpatient imaging department.
•Assist in managing an increased patient load of 6-7 appointments daily, working towards reducing backlogs.
• Ensure accuracy and quality in diagnostic imaging for physician interpretation.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment following facility standards.
• Provide patient care and guidance throughout imaging procedures.
• Accurately document all procedures and patient data.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• Proficiency in Cerner electronic medical record systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in outpatient imaging environments, including CT and PET/CT exams.

Quick Med Staffing Job ID #2025-84312. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
