Position: Technical Support Specialist

Location: Chicago IL, USA

Role Summary:

We are seeking motivated Technical Support Specialists to service, repair, and install PCs (both laptops and desktops).

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware and software as well as peripheral equipment.
• Provide first-level technical support, configuring PCs to meet user needs.
• Escalate complex issues to senior support staff when necessary to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with vendor warranty requirements through timely and accurate information processing.
• Adhere to client policies to protect the integrity of customer data.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and vendors to deliver unified support.
• Engage directly with customers to address technical inquiries or requests.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in a related field is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience with Microsoft operating systems and Office Suites is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of desktop troubleshooting is a plus.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $45,000 to $50,000. The role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a comprehensive range of medical and dental options, disability insurance, and paid time off (including sick leave).
