Macy’s 2025 Photo Content Studio Summer Residency
We are looking for 4 students to participate in an 8-week full time paid program. The students will have opportunities to experience all aspects of Content creation and production. All positions are in person at our Long Island City Photo and Content Studios. Please note that all housing and transportation is not included.
Job Title: Video Production Assistant
Reports To: Director, Video Production
Program Start: June 2nd, 2025
Program End: July 25th, 2025
New Hires Orientation: June 2nd, 2025
Rate: $20 p/hr. (4.5 days' work week/ 8 weeks/ full-time)
As a Video Production Assistant at Macy’s, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creative expertise, strong technical skills, and help the Macy’s team to produce engaging videos that help showcase why our organization is recognized as an industry leader. You will work alongside various teams in studio and on location, helping to make an impact and tell stories through video, and be a key player who understands the impact video makes on our brand and for our company.
Job Responsibilities
• Work alongside videographers, editors and post -production teams during the summer residency
• Provide support in executing final content from filming, editing, and or both
• Assist video teams in all pre-postproduction responsibilities on site, in studio and or on location
• Attend and participate in team meetings, creative brainstorms, pre-production meetings, video reviews, etc.
