Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer for a full-time job with a client in Windsor, CT. The ideal candidate must have expertise in Java development, particularly in Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Maven, JSP, JBoss, Java 8, and Java 11.
Rate Range: $70-$75/hr; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr. Full Stack Engineer job responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain applications using Java, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment to streamline development processes.
Manage source code using GitHub, ensuring code quality and version control.
Implement containerization using Docker to enhance application scalability and deployment.
Use Maven for project build and dependency management, ensuring smooth project execution.
Develop server-side logic using JSP and JBoss to support front-end functionalities.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6 to 10 years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on Java technologies.
Proven expertise with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Maven, JSP, JBoss, Java 8, and Java 11.
Experience working with microservices architecture and understanding of RESTful services.
Proficiency in debugging and performance-tuning applications.
