Job Description
Akkodis is seeking an IOS Developer / Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Santa Clara, CA . You will be responsible for triaging issues, fixing bugs, and implementing design improvements to ensure a seamless user experience.
Rate Range: $85/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
IOS Developer / Software Engineer job responsibilities include:
Improving the quality of shipping iOS/macOS features for millions of customers.
Triaging issues and fixing bugs to ensure smooth application functionality.
Implementing design improvements based on feedback and testing results.
Collaborating with an experienced iOS/macOS software team to deliver high-quality products.
Utilizing Xcode and Instruments tools to debug bugs and optimize performance.
Working with UIKit, Foundation, and AppKit frameworks to develop features and enhancements.
Writing and executing tests using the XCTest framework to ensure feature reliability.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
Several years of experience with Objective-C and Swift development.
Strong understanding of UIKit, Foundation frameworks, and Xcode tools.
Experience with debugging performance issues using Instruments.
Familiarity with XCTest framework for testing is a plus.
