Social Worker – Pediatric Emergency Department - Bi-lingual Spanish - Evening - 2:00PM -10:00 PM - CHONY

As a member of the Emergency Department you will work at one of the top hospital-based social work department were your discipline is immensely respected. We're committed to the health and safety of our patients, their families and the people in our communities. Work with and be a part of the multidisciplinary health care team in the Emergency Department (ED). You will participate in comprehensive evaluations, provide psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention as well as discharge planning to pediatric/adolescent patients and their families.

This is a Monday-Friday Evenings (2 PM - 10 PM) shift with rotating weekend/holiday coverage.
Preferred Criteria:
Emergency Department experience
Experience in providing direct clinical services to patients and families
Crisis related experience
Experience providing trauma support to children/adolescents and their families in an outpatient settings
Bereavement training/experience
Knowledge of child abuse (recognizing and reporting)
Resource connection
Fluency in Spanish
Required Criteria
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
