Job Summary:

Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for Social Justice & Arts Curator. The Social Justice & Arts Curator will support the Office of Inclusion & Social Justice ( OISJ ) and the overall mission of the university by developing opportunities for the campus community to deepen their understanding of civic engagement and social justice activism. Additionally, the position will foster greater institutional awareness of systemic inequities through curated programming at the XULA Civic Center. AA/ EOE

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Three years of related social justice organizing, or civic engagement experience required


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and execute professional events
  • Self-motivated, tendency to take initiative, and able to work independently
