About the Opportunity
Join a dynamic organization in the Hospital & Health Care sector, supporting a major client’s growth through innovative construction projects. As a Senior Construction Project Manager at the mid-level, you’ll oversee a portfolio of renovations, new builds, and expansions while managing a team of 5 project managers and fostering strong client relationships. What You’ll Do
Execute construction projects from pre-construction planning with stakeholders to final delivery. Develop assignments, timetables, and responsibilities for team members throughout the project lifecycle. Organize and direct construction personnel, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment resources. Coordinate with planning commissions, governing bodies, and subcontractors for costing, contract negotiation, and remodeling. Lead project meetings, oversee critical activities, and ensure subcontractors align with expectations. Manage projects profitably, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, budget adherence, and scope compliance.

Skills Required

Must-Haves:

1. Project Management Expertise: 6+ years of direct experience managing building construction projects including new builds, renovations, and infrastructure renewals.

2. Supervisory Leadership: 5+ years leading teams in construction or engineering fields.

3. Scheduling & Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6, plus financial accounting systems.

4. Documentation & Processes: In-depth knowledge of project scheduling and documentation techniques.

5. Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Strong ability to collaborate with diverse groups for successful project outcomes.

Nice-to-Haves:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management or Engineering.
2. Certifications: PMP, CPM, or related industry credentials.
3. Industry Experience: Background in Hospital & Health Care or similar complex project environments.

 

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. 6+ years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry. 5+ years of supervisory experience in construction or engineering.


Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Environment
: Onsite office and construction sites with frequent use of computers and communication tools. Physical: Seeing, hearing, clear speech, hand dexterity, occasional lifting, and site navigation.
