Antharis Therapeutics is committed to accelerating immune therapies' discovery, research, development, and biomanufacturing. We are seeking a scientist who specializes in monoclonal antibodies, antibody drug conjugates and bispecific antibodies. They will be a bench scientist responsible for designing and evaluating antibody screening strategies and other novel assays. They will work collaboratively across all research functions to drive the progress of antibody development.

Job Requirements:

• Conduct target evaluation and selection by researching relevant pathways and biomarkers in oncology and immunotherapy. Utilize public databases, literature reviews, and internal data to prioritize targets for antibody development.
• Design immunization and antibody discovery strategies, including antigen selection (e.g., peptides, proteins, or cell-based immunogens), immunization schedules, and hybridoma or display-based screening campaigns to generate lead antibody candidates.
• Perform comprehensive antibody characterization, including binding affinity, epitope mapping, cross-reactivity, and internalization assays. Use tools such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell-based functional assays to assess biologic activity and therapeutic potential.
• Execute and interpret additional in vitro functional assays, including cytotoxicity, receptor occupancy, and pathway inhibition.
• Lead in vivo studies in collaboration with vivarium staff to evaluate pharmacokinetics, efficacy, and toxicity of biologic candidates in relevant disease models.
• Apply rigorous statistical analysis to experimental data, supporting decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and clear data interpretation. Use statistical software to generate high-quality figures, tables, and visualizations for internal reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams including protein engineering, translational biology, and analytical sciences to drive program progression.
• Maintain meticulous electronic lab notebooks and contribute to data analysis and presentation for internal meetings, external collaborators, and scientific audiences.
• Support IND-enabling activities including generation of technical documentation, statistical summaries, and formal scientific reports.
• Track record of managing performance metrics and improving processes for enhanced quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Immunology, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology
• Demonstrated expertise in biologics, including mAbs, ADCs, or bi-specific antibodies.
• Hands-on experience with in vitro immunoassays (e.g., cytotoxicity, receptor occupancy) and flow cytometry-based analysis.
• Experience designing and interpreting in vivo studies in mouse models, including tumor xenografts or syngeneic models.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
