Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone preferred)

Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM EST

Job Summary:

The Billing Manager will oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle management process, including claims submissions, payment posting, denials management, and appeals. This role requires strong leadership skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a deep understanding of medical billing processes and healthcare compliance regulations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our team, leveraging advanced tools and analytics to optimize revenue collection and improve client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:

• Supervise and mentor a team of medical billing professionals.

• Ensure timely and accurate claims submissions, payment postings, and account reconciliations.

• Foster a collaborative and agile team environment.

• Revenue Cycle Management:

• Monitor and manage the entire revenue cycle process to maximize collections and reduce payment delays.

• Handle claims denials and appeals, ensuring resolutions in a timely manner.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve billing workflows and reduce errors.

Client Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to billing and revenue cycle issues.

• Prepare and present detailed reports on claims status, revenue performance, and key metrics.

• Compliance & Best Practices:

• Stay updated on healthcare regulations, payer guidelines, and coding standards.

• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and other relevant legal requirements.

Technology Utilization:

• Utilize EHR systems, Google Workspace, and billing software to streamline operations.

• Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback on AI-driven billing tools.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.

• Expertise in claims submissions, denials management, and appeals processes.

• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations (HIPAA, CPT, ICD-10, etc.).

• Proficiency in EHR systems, billing software, and Google Workspace.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

• Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) certification.

• Experience working with AI-driven billing technologies.

• Proven track record of managing remote teams.
