This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to drive impactful projects from inception through preconstruction and entitlement phases.
The Ideal Candidate
A proven leader in real estate development with a strong track record of managing projects through the entitlement, zoning, and preconstruction phases.
Experienced in multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial real estate projects with a focus on maximizing project value and optimizing financial outcomes.
Strategic thinker with expertise in zoning and land use policy, financial modeling, underwriting, and risk management.
Highly skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to collaborate across teams and align development goals with ownership’s vision.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing complex, multi-phase projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the entire development process, from site selection, acquisition, and zoning to entitlements and preconstruction readiness.
Drive the development program, ensuring project scope, design, and budget align with ownership's vision and objectives.
Develop and oversee project financials, including underwriting, ROI analysis, capital structuring, and budget management.
Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and legal teams to ensure projects comply with zoning, land use regulations, and municipal requirements.
Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including municipal agencies, investors, consultants, and internal teams.
Provide regular updates, reports, and strategic insights to ownership throughout the development process.
Drive process improvements, implementing best practices to enhance project delivery, optimize resource allocation, and achieve maximum efficiency.
Must-Haves
10+ years of experience in real estate development, specifically in multifamily, mixed-use, or commercial real estate projects
Expertise in zoning, entitlements , and land use policy , with proven experience managing complex municipal approvals
Strong financial modeling , project underwriting , and ROI analysis skills
Exceptional leadership with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving projects through preconstruction
Proven ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders and align diverse teams towards common goals
A strategic mindset with excellent communication , negotiation , and problem-solving abilities
