Centria Healthcare is looking to hire caring, professional, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides to join our team.
Schedule: Responsibilities: - Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls.
- Provide basic personal care , including hygiene, toileting, and dressing.
- Monitor and assist with oxygen therapy as needed.
- Prepare light snacks or drinks if requested.
- Offer companionship and reassurance throughout the shift.
- Assist in positioning and turning to prevent discomfort.
- Document and report any changes in condition.
- Respond to any emergencies promptly.
- Perform duties outlined in patient's plan of care
- Monitor patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise
- Observe the client's physical, mental, and emotional conditions/ document and record changes in the patient condition
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment
- Assist with daily living activities, such as dressing or taking a bath
- Adhere to professional standards, facility care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements
Qualifications: - CNA, HHA, or equivalent experience in home care preferred.
- Experience working with fall-risk patients and mobility assistance is highly desirable.
- Ability to assist with personal care and provide compassionate support.
- Must be reliable, patient, and attentive to the client's needs.
- Comfortable working in a private home.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to utilize computers/tablets and computer software
- Strong patient service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to carefully follow protocols and rules regarding the patient's care
- Ability to address minor medical issues
Flexible schedule and weekly pay ! Documentation requirements: - Valid Driver's License
- Valid CPR Certification
- Background Check
- Negative TB test results
- Auto Insurance with your name listed on the policy
