We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is fully remote with occasional in-person staff meetings. (Candidates MUST live within the Greater Phoenix, AZ area.)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process payroll for approximately 326 employees, all located within Arizona

• Handle the administration of 401k audits and workman's compensation audits

• Conduct due diligence work, including reviewing new hires, Leaves of Absence (LOAs), and terminations

• Address HR and employee queries, resolve payroll issues, and manage off cycle payrolls

• Update processes and run payroll reports for General Ledger (GL) entries

• Utilize ADP for payroll processing and other HR-related tasks

• Manage payroll functions including garnishments

• Ensure the accurate maintenance of all employee records and files

• Use accounting software systems to manage and track payroll data and information

• Oversee benefits functions as part of the payroll process

• Must be proficient in Payroll processing and management

• Experienced in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Possess strong skills in Auditing

• Familiar with Benefit Functions

• Knowledgeable in ADP - Payroll

• Ability to perform Payroll Functions effectively

• Demonstrated expertise in Payroll Management

• Capable of Processing Payroll accurately and on time

• Experienced in handling Payroll - Garnishments
