PARK MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR – SAN DIEGO COAST DISTRICT / HISTORIC SECTOR / OLD TOWN SAN DIEGO STATE HISTORIC PARK
The reporting location for this position is the Maintenance Shop located at Old Town State Historic Park in San Diego, CA. This position will work under the general supervision of Park Maintenance Chief III.
The position duties include the incumbent to plan, supervise, and direct the maintenance functions at Old Town State Historic Park, supervision of permanent and seasonal employees, ensuring completion of scheduled maintenance as identified in MAXIMO, CAT I and Temp help budgeting, purchasing, and implementing unit safety program. Area of responsibility includes a highly visited historic day use park with multiple concessionaire buildings, museums, restrooms, HVAC systems, grounds, historic structures, water treatment plant, District headquarters, and tribal sensitive areas.
The incumbent’s work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

It should be noted that testing is not mandatory, but is allowed to be conducted only if and when there is a determination of reasonable suspicion as defined in CCR 599.962 .
