Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Sales Business Development Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in business development, client relationship management, sales and revenue growth, strategic partnerships, product and service development, team management, event participation and sponsorship in the automotive, outdoor, or off-road industries.

Responsibilities:
1. Driving new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships to expand the company's customer base and market share.
2. Managing and strengthening relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further growth.
3. Overseeing the development and launch of new products and services in line with market trends and customer needs.
4. Leading and managing a high-performing sales team, setting sales targets, and providing coaching and guidance to ensure the achievement of sales objectives.
5. Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, and securing event sponsorships to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
6. Utilizing CRM systems to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and analyze sales data to inform strategic decision-making.
7. Negotiating contracts and deals with clients and partners, ensuring the best possible terms for the company.
8. Delivering compelling sales presentations to a range of prospective clients, effectively communicating the unique value proposition of our products and services.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the automotive, outdoor, or off-road sectors.
2. Proven track record in business development, sales and revenue growth, and client relationship management.
3. Experience in developing and launching new products and services, and managing strategic partnerships.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a sales team to achieve exceptional results.
5. Experience in event participation and sponsorship, with strong networking and relationship-building skills.
6. Proficiency in using CRM systems for sales tracking and forecasting.
7. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to a diverse range of clients and partners.
8. Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket would be a distinct advantage.
9. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
