MACHINIST (Grinding)

DIRECT HIRE ROLE

DAY SHIFT

Position Description

• Set up and operate multiple CNC controlled Rollomatic multi axis tool grinding machines operating on Virtual Grind (VG) software.
• Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments to verify parts meet standards
• Maintain exacting tolerances, finishes, dimensions and geometry on hardened steel component parts
• Perform simple maintenance, filter changes, oil reservoir capacities, wheel inspection, oiling and greasing of machine.
• Possess working knowledge of the Rollomatic Virtual Grind (VG) software and the ability to read and edit programs to achieve specific results.
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
• Must be able to read drawings and hold tolerances per the drawing

Experience:

• CNC: 5 years (Preferred)
• Machine Grinding: 3 years (Required)
