About the Role We are seeking an experienced iOS Mobile App Developer to join our client's dynamic development team in Los Angeles on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reliable iOS applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features. Responsibilities Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Objective-C Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Work with outside data sources and APIs Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Work on bug fixes and improve application performance Continuously Client, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional iOS development experience Proficiency in Swift; experience with Objective-C is a plus Strong understanding of iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services Knowledge of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Familiarity with continuous integration Preferred Qualifications Experience with SwiftUI and Combine framework Knowledge of architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER) Experience with reactive programming (RxSwift) Understanding of clean code principles and SOLID design Experience with Core ML or ARKit Prior work with Agile development methodologies App Store submission experience Portfolio of shipped iOS apps Contract Details 6-month initial contract with possibility of extension or conversion Pay rate: $75 - 120 per hour Flexible work arrangements with partial remote options CalTek Staffing , Inc.
