Job Description Regions Hospital is looking for a highly motivated Inpatient Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and clinical expertise to patients. This position will be responsible for provision of pharmacy services including inpatient dispensing and IV preparation. There is an opportunity to work in a decentralized clinical capacity across multiple patient populations if desired. Inpatient dispensing and IV preparation experience or strong interest is a plus. Pharmacists at Regions Hospital provide professional pharmaceutical services by reviewing medication orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, monitoring patient medication therapies, providing drug information to healthcare providers, overseeing the work of direct support personnel, and performing related duties as assigned. Established in 1872, Regions Hospital is a private, not-for-profit organization. The hospital provides health care services for Saint Paul and its surrounding communities, as well as for patients who come from greater Minnesota, Western Wisconsin and other Midwestern states. Regions Hospital is part of the HealthPartners family of care. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, day/evening, every other weekend with holiday rotation/bidding. Occasional overnight coverage may be necessary. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy. Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota. Currently working in inpatient dispensing and IV preparation, with preference given to at least one year of experience. At least one of the following: Completion of a post-doctorate pharmacy program (e.g., residency or fellowship such as a PGY1 or PGY2 ASHP-accredited pharmacy program) Current board certification such as Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) Currently working in a decentralized clinical capacity. Additional Information: This is a union 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day/evening position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $71.95-$81.94 per hour, based on experience. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
