Reingold is a full-service, social-impact driven marketing and creative firm in Old Town, Alexandria. For more than 40 years, we’ve developed and launched compelling, inventive communications campaigns that have supported clients in many sectors: education, the military, health care, government, nonprofits, and more. Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on site at our Alexandria, Virginia office. During your internship, you will contribute meaningfully to your projects as a valued member of your team, while being supported by our structured internship program. Reingold’s program provides regular check-ins, professional development and learning opportunities, and fun team bonding events. This internship is designed to equip individuals with the skills and experience necessary for a full-time position in the marketing and communications field. You must know the Adobe Creative Suite and have a curious mind ready to explore a wide range of marketing experiences. At Reingold you may do a logo one day, design a brochure the next, and finish the week helping develop a whole new brand. Intern responsibilities may include: Designing print materials, including fact sheets, brochures, and reports. Developing client brand identities, logos, and other branding elements. Retouching and manipulating photos. Creating illustrations. Supporting our video department enhancing motion graphics. Nerding out over movies and pop culture. Performing other tasks depending on your skills and our needs. We encourage go-getters and value interns who take initiative in shaping their Reingold experiences! Key requirements include: Possess an associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in graphic design, marketing or communications. Competency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Keen attention to detail. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Strong oral and written communications skills. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Able to receive and incorporate peer feedback. Curious, creative nature. Please show off your skills by submitting a thoughtfully designed resume, portfolio, and short cover letter. If you had to describe InDesign in one word, it would be … Internships are full time during the standard workweek and pay an hourly rate of $20. The internship class begins on Thursday, June 5, and runs through Friday, November 21. Core hours during the internship are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. This internship requires five days (Monday – Friday) every week at our office in Alexandria, Virginia. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
