The Chief of Staff position reports to the ETS Chief Administration Officer and is responsible for supporting the ETS Chief Information Officer and the broader ETS Management team.Morgan Stanley is seeking a Chief of Staff for CIO in Enterprise Technology & Services in New York. Responsibilities:· Drive development and management of ETS multi-year strategy, including alignment with overall tech strategy · Manage ETS’ multi-year strategic goal setting process and track progress & updates · Coordinate with senior stakeholders within ETS and across the business to develop tactics and strategies to address emerging concerns · Continue to evolve ETS controls in line with emerging regulatory and industry standards · Manage cadence, agendas and briefing materials required for the maintenance of strategic vendor relationships · Coordinate development and reviews of executive presentations, including Board meetings, key business partner meetings, and executive risk and regulatory meetings· Synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for both internal and external executive meetings · Identify key risks and potential issues proactively; manage and communicate them with situational sensitivity· Address/escalate legal and compliance issues as needed QualificationsQualifications:· College/University degree or equivalent with a business focus and relevant/proven experience· Excellent interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy and excellent writing skills including the ability to tailor messaging to all levels of the organization · Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize time accordingly· Strong process management skills and direct experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders at one time· High level of discretion and ability to work on confidential projects with Compliance, HR, and Legal teams· Ability to interact comfortably at the most senior levels of the organization while also being a contributor to the team· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the changing needs of the CIO as they arise · Strong working knowledge of MS Office including PowerPoint, One Note, and Teams· Technology, Risk / Regulatory, or Strategy background a plusMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
