In this role, you'll take the lead in creating, executing, and refining email marketing campaigns that deliver value for our customers and drive growth for our business. You'll work closely with our content, design, and product teams to ensure our messaging resonates with customers, all while optimizing performance to achieve measurable success. From crafting engaging content to analyzing campaign results, youll play a key role in shaping our email strategy and enhancing customer relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle emails.
  • Utilize segmentation strategies to deliver personalized content to different audience groups, ensuring the right message reaches the right people at the right time.
  • Conduct A/B tests on email content, subject lines, design, and CTAs to optimize campaign performance, analyze results, and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to create compelling email copies and visually engaging templates that align with brand guidelines.
  • Build and manage email automation workflows, including welcome series, cart abandonment, and re-engagement campaigns.
  • Monitor email campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, etc.) and provide reports regularly with insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, merchandising, purchasing, copywriters, design, etc.) to align email campaigns with broader marketing initiatives, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
  • Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and follow the best practices in email deliverability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and maintain efficient operations.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably in an e-commerce setting.
  • Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms and automation tools (experience with DotDigital is highly preferred).
  • Knowledge of e-commerce email marketing strategies, including segmentation and personalization.
  • Experience analyzing email campaign performance and interpreting data to optimize future campaigns (GA4 knowledge is a plus).

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong ability to craft engaging email copy (including subject lines and pretext) and collaborate with designers to create visually appealing emails.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in email design, copy, and campaign setup.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software and collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack is highly preferred.
  • Basic HTML/CSS for email design is a bonus.
  • Solid skills with MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in an office or remote setting for extended periods.
  • Fine motor skills for typing and using a mouse or other devices to create and manage campaigns.
  • Occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 10 pounds, such as promotional items or presentation materials.
  • Capacity to attend in-person meetings or company events, which may involve light travel.
