We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Director of Business Development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry, including potential clients and partnerships.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue.
  • Provide regular reports to the senior management team on sales metrics, potential opportunities, and business performance.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a business development leadership role within the MEP industry.
  • Proven track record of identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the MEP industry, including market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
