About the Role: Covenant Case Management Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Support Professionals to provide community living support and respite services for an individual with intellectual disabilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the individual's needs are met and providing a safe and supportive environment both in the home and the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with daily living activities and personal care.
  • Assist clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
  • Facilitate community engagement and social interactions.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive home environment.
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to coordinate care.
  • Document client progress and report incidents as needed.
  • Advocate for client needs and maintain a respectful atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.

Schedule:

  • Mondays: 4 PM - 8 PM
  • Tuesdays - Fridays: 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM
  • PRN Respite: Weekends as needed
  • Occasional overnight stays in the caretaker's home
