Contractor – ICS/OT Cybersecurity Monitoring & Tools

We are seeking a skilled ICS/OT Cybersecurity Monitoring Contractor to enhance our cybersecurity efforts by monitoring information systems, identifying potential threats, and ensuring the security of industrial control systems. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about cybersecurity tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Monitoring & Incident Response

• Detect and report potential security violations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities, ensuring real-time visibility.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, including hacker methodologies, and proactively work to prevent breaches.
• Maintain continuous security monitoring for automation control systems and proprietary networks.

Threat Prevention & Security Enhancement

• Identify security gaps in the cybersecurity program and design effective solutions.
• Provide regular reports to management on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends.
• Work closely with vendors to optimize cybersecurity tools and ensure effective threat detection.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge and stay informed about industry advancements.

Compliance & Security Procedures

• Follow established cybersecurity procedures and safeguards within the Process Control Network (PCN).
• Adhere to system termination procedures and incident reporting requirements for potential security breaches.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience (2-5 years in a related field).
• Experience with network security support required.
• Hands-on experience in ICS security, security operations, vulnerability management, or security monitoring preferred.
• Experience implementing process control systems in plant, pipeline, or terminal environments is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Preferred experience with SolarWinds, Symantec, QRadar, Splunk, Linux OS, and Endpoint Protection (AV, AWL, etc.)
• Certifications such as Splunk Certified Power User or CISSP are a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with operations teams and contractors.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders as needed.
