Gage Marine Corporation is looking for a skilled content creator who can support our marketing efforts through consistent and high-quality content creation. The ideal candidate will be able to come on-site to film, edit, and produce engaging videos of people dining at the restaurant, people engaging in the Lake Life, special events, boats on land and in the water, boat tours, and more. Show potential customers how Lake Life Begins with Gage through photos, videos, and amazing content for all channels of marketing. The candidate should feel comfortable talking with customers and have good customer service when filming or taking their photos. They will know how to direct people to get the best photo or video possible. Compensation to be based on experience and portfolio.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONTENT CREATOR VIDEO/PHOTO INTERN

Work with the Marketing Manager to understand the campaigns for the different business units under Gage Marine Corporation and then create photo and video content to support the marketing campaigns. Take photos and videos of both customers at the different business locations engaged with our services as well as plan and execute staged photo shoots.

PRIMARY TASKS

• In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, editing, and producing high-quality photo and video content for Gage Marine Corporation, including PIER 290 restaurant, Gage Marine boat sales, Lake Geneva Cruise Line, and Lake Life Catering
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop photo and video content concepts that align with the company's goals and objectives
• Plan, storyboard, and script video content to ensure a clear and compelling message
• Operate camera equipment, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage
• Incorporate motion graphics, animation, and visual effects to enhance videos when necessary
• Ensure timely delivery of video content according to project deadlines
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in video production and marketing Improve content and strategies continuously to develop, plan, and execute daily social content from end-to-end including recording, photographing and video editing for stories and posts
• Capture content at live events and editing this content to create compelling short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Help plan and execute photo shoots and video shoots for branded content generation
• Develop new and highly engaging content to grow our social audience
• Work alongside department stakeholders to ensure that content is aligned with brand aesthetics and identity

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of proven experience (portfolio required) as a photographer, videographer, video editor, or content creator, showcasing a strong understanding of video production techniques, storytelling, and visual aesthetics
• Proficiency in operating cameras/video cameras, lighting equipment, audio tools, and photo/ video editing software
• Strong knowledge of photography, videography, and editing techniques, such as color grading, audio mixing, and video compression
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the marketing team and other stakeholders
• Excellent visual storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging and informative video content Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
• Extensive experience developing TikTok posts, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A MARKETING INTERN

This part-time intern position would work 20-30 hours per week. Some nights and weekends will be required as well as some holidays.
