JOB DESCRIPTION
A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Civil Inspector in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This person will be joining the water operations team working on projects all over ND, SD, and WY. They will be responsible for conducting and documenting observations as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelines. They will be mentoring junior field staff and collaborating with contractors and project managers.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience working as a construction inspector or 7+ years of Constuction Management experience
- Strong communication skills. Need to communicate and create partnerships with their clients
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to interpret construction schedules
- Experience reading construction plans and specs
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Technical school or Associate degree
- Relevant Industry Certifications
-Experience working with in waste water or drinking water facilities
