Prior experience working for Commercial Roofing Contractor is required for consideration.

Nations Roof is seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimator responsible for selling, pricing, and negotiating contracts for commercial roof projects.

Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

• Estimate compile bids and generate proposals accurately and are completed on time.
• Make site visits to collect bidding information and/or from Plans/Specs for new/re-roof projects.
• Obtains quotes from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
• Review/prepare proposed project bids in accordance with company bidding procedures with essential overall cost accuracy.
• Participate in pre and post review project meetings.
• Complete project closeout documents.
• Cultivate customer relationships that will assist in winning profitable repeat business.
• Maintain communication with project contacts throughout the entire project from start to finish.
• Controlling and prioritizing multiple activities while handling multiple projects.

Job Requirements:

• Understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design and installation code compliance and manufacturers requirements for warranty.
• Experience estimating on commercial/industrial roofs.
• 2-5 yrs experience using Edge System is a plus.
• Proficient with data base estimating digitizer computerize estimating software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel Outlook Powerpoint Word.
• Must be a motivated and a “self-starter” with professional appearance.
• Ability to give instructions and clearly explain problems or situation.
• Must be team orientated.
