Join our organization as the Chief Pharmacy Officer (CPO) for Samaritan.


    At our organization, we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services while fostering a culture of compassion and excellence. As the CPO, you will have the opportunity to deliver optimal pharmacy services system-wide. Samaritan pharmacy services include; inpatient and outpatient pharmacies, medication management, pharmacy residency programs, and 340B operations.

    • Ensure that the pharmacy meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements while complying with applicable policies, procedures, codes, and standards.

    • Foster an environment that values and supports the workforce, focusing on improving employee retention and enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.


    • Provide executive oversight to enhance financial stability, ensuring sustainable performance and effective resource allocation.


    • Develop and execute key strategic initiatives and operating plans that extend the mission of SHS and meet employee/patient needs


    • Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement across multiple functional areas.


    • Track and report on operating results, demonstrating consistent growth and progress towards achieving organizational goals.







  • Qualifications:




    • Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required.


    • Five (5) years experience in a pharmacy management position required.


    • Experience in Board of Pharmacy rules/regulations required.


    • Health system experience strongly preferred.


    • Experience with 340B preferred.


    • All job offers are contingent upon the candidate passing a pre-employment/post offer drug screen.
