About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the establishment and maintenance of a robust information security program. The CISO will be responsible for ensuring the protection of information assets, technology, applications, systems, and processes within the digital ecosystem. This includes identifying, evaluating, and reporting on various risks and aligning security measures with business objectives. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in the college environment and a working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies. They will work proactively with business units and partners to implement security practices, oversee a range of security and risk management activities, and lead the development of security policies and frameworks. Applicants for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a technology or business-related field and 7 to 10 years of experience in risk management, information security, and IT. Active security certifications are preferred. The role requires excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of security standards and requirements.
