*Certified Surgical Tech (CST) – Permanent – 10 HR Days – 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM*

Must reside within *30 minutes* of their assigned facility due to on-call requirements

Be part of an extraordinary opportunity to shape the future of healthcare in College Station, TX. As a state-of-the-art medical facility prepares to open its doors in 2025, we are seeking skilled and dedicated *Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs)* to join the surgical team.

This expansion includes an advanced outpatient surgical center, specialty clinics, lab services, and more—designed to meet the growing needs of the community. Interviews begin in *October 2024*, with final selections by *November 2024*, and start dates in *early 2025*.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are set up correctly.
* Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
* Maintain a sterile surgical field and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
* Perform pre-operative patient preparation, including skin antisepsis and draping.
* Conduct surgical counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments to maintain patient safety.
* Handle and label surgical specimens according to established protocols.
* Clean, sterilize, and properly dispose of surgical instruments and materials post-procedure.

*What We’re Looking For*
* *Education:* Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
* *Certification:* Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT (CAAHEP-accredited program required).
* *Experience:* Open to candidates with less than one year of experience.
* *Basic Life Support (BLS):* Required within 30 days of hire.
