We have an exciting opportunity for
Post-Harvest Cannabis Trimmers/Packagers to join us on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri medical cannabis market into a reality. Our Cannabis Trimmers/Packagers will work out of our warehouse location in Rock Hill (St. Louis, MO 63144). Full-time employees will receive medical benefits and paid time off. The schedule is Monday-Friday ~7:30 am-4 pm. Starting pay rate is $16/hour. No experience is needed, we will train you for success!
Responsibilities of Cannabis Trimmer/Packager: - Efficiently processes flowers during the post-production phase:
- Preparing and trimming in a quick, precise, and dexterous manner
- Maintaining the high-quality appearance and structural integrity of the cannabis plant
- Ensuring the least amount of waste possible is produced
- Assisting in the product transfer into the dry room
- Weighing out product accurately to prepare for packaging
- Recording data in all necessary software platforms
- Working as part of a team to meet production schedules
- Assisting in the packaging process as required.
- Ensures assigned facility area is clean and safe:
- Maintaining a clean workspace to prevent cross-contamination
- Ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements for Cannabis Trimmer/Packager: - Must be 21 years of age or older
- High diploma or GED
- Passion for medical cannabis
- Strong preference for fast trimmers with experience trimming large volumes in a professional setting
- Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID by the start date, which includes submitting fingerprints and passing a criminal background check
- Effective time-management skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
Preferred, but not required: - Horticultural degree
- Previous professional experience trimming cannabis
- Gardening production experience, preferably in a regulated field producing for human consumption
- Manufacturing experience with an understanding of operations
- Knowledge of medical cannabis law and cannabis medicinal applications
Environment: The work environment is an environmentally controlled warehouse. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to:
- Reach, bend, stoop, sit, stand, climb stairs and ladders, crawl into small spaces, walk on uneven terrain, endure extreme temperatures, and manage personal exposure to numerous soil and air contaminants.
