About the Role

The Company is seeking passionate individuals to join its Board of Directors and help make a lasting impact in the lives of children and young adults with complex learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. Board members play a crucial role in championing educational equity, collaborating with a diverse group of professionals, and contributing to the strategic planning and organizational development of the school. While expertise in fundraising, public relations, communications, education, or legal matters is valued, it is not a requirement. The most important qualities are a commitment to empowering students, a willingness to learn, and the ability to uphold the organization's mission with integrity. As a Board member, you will be responsible for promoting and advocating for the organization's mission, serving as an ambassador for the school and its students, and providing financial oversight to ensure sustainable growth. This is an opportunity to gain invaluable leadership experience, build meaningful connections, and work with a team that is dedicated to student success. The time commitment includes attending bimonthly meetings, participating in school events and fundraising initiatives, and making an annual contribution in support of the school's mission. If you are ready to be a catalyst for change and help shape a brighter future for students, we encourage you to apply and be part of this rewarding experience.
