What You’ll Do:

• Be a trusted advisor for capital markets clients, providing legal guidance on securitization and financial product transactions.
• Lead key securities offerings , including credit risk transfer securitizations, reperforming loan securitizations, and both multifamily and single-family securitizations.
• Support innovative financial products by advising on tax implications, compliance, and structuring for new initiatives.
• Drive strategic legal solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders, counterparties, outside counsel, and regulatory partners.
• Shape the industry by influencing policies and operations that impact the broader housing finance market.

What You Bring:

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in a state bar (LL.M. in Tax preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in securitization, financial products, or tax-related transactions within a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Deep knowledge of tax law related to securitization, structured finance, and financial products.
• Proven leadership in managing transactions, drafting and negotiating tax disclosure documents, and advising on compliance matters.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex financial structures in a fast-paced environment.
