Mount Marty is pleased to accept applications for an admission counselor. The admission counselor is responsible for recruiting first year students to Mount Marty University. The admission counselor provides academic, financial, and career counseling to students and families and supports the division of enrollment management by participating in events and programs throughout the year. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for the identification, recruitment, and matriculation of college students. To meet annual enrollment goals as established in cooperation with the vice president for enrollment management. To develop and implement recruitment strategies and recruitment plan for assigned territory. To develop and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, school counselors, and other key stakeholders. To be an active, contributing member of the admission team and of Mount Marty University. To maintain strong working relationships with coaches, first year advisors, faculty, administration, alumni and staff to facilitate the success of the student. To coordinate, travel to, and attend regional college recruitment activities to include high school visits, college fairs, church visits, and other appropriate events in assigned territories. To generate, monitor, and track prospective inquiries and other admission data to ensure timely follow-up and progression through the recruitment cycle. To participate in events, such as campus visits, career days, open houses, scholarship day, and registration week as related to recruitment. Perform other duties as assigned by the vice president for enrollment management. Qualifications Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree Experience or interest in student recruitment, sales, marketing, and/or counseling preferred Valid driver’s license Commitment to the mission of Mount Marty University Application Process Applicants must submit a letter of application, resume, and the names of three references through the online application system.
