Summary

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our Miami team. This role is for an experienced collections manager and entails recording payments to customer accounts and maintaining accounts receivable records. Takes appropriate collection action on accounts more than 30 days old.

Essential Duties

• Reconciles statements and follows up collections as necessary.
• Prepares accounts receivable statements monthly.
• Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks.
• Answers accounts receivable phone calls and follows up on inquiries.
• Updates customers' account information.
• Maintains a monthly log of bad debt and accounts in arrears list.
• Cross-trains others for this position as directed by management.
• Allocate and prioritize workload, train, evaluate, and coach team member.
• Assists with related special projects as required.
• Ensure daily examination and capture of all payments received and monitor AR accounts.
• Monitor and ensure all internal A/R accounts are reconciled.
• Investigate closed items as needed, answer customer and Audit questions, and participate in Audit meetings.
• Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• At least 10 years of management experience.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 10 years of collections experience
